You've probably heard by now that turquoise was named the 2010 Color of the Year by Pantone LLC, the company responsible for all things color. They release two reports annually that name the Top 10 colors for spring and fall fashions. And gray got a spot on both those lists! Gray is being heralded as the new neutral. Sure, you can wear grey with black and red, but think about grey with pink, purple, blue, green and orange!
Adidas calls gray Lance or Krypton and combines it with two pinks, Hot and Flamingo, along with white. The sleeveless polo shown here has a clear placed print down the right side and works well with any of their spring shorts, skorts or pants in black, gray or Hot! They also suggest their Athletic Performance tops in green or blue.
Tail uses a light cement gray and silver in a spring collection with a hot red/orange called Lollipop. You'll see it in Cutter & Buck's regular line as well as in the Annika Collection.
